Under Windows 2000 and Windows XP, DualHead modes
can be enabled through the
TMET

run the Matrox GXM System Compatibility Tool to ensure that your GPU
is capable of achieving this resolution. Some ATI FireGL and ATI
Radeon (pre X1000 Series) GPUs support a maximum resolution of
2400x600. 8 Triple
wide-screen resolutions require PowerDesk version 2.03.02 or later,
and graphics hardware that supports a dual-link DVI
connection. 9 Not
supported in a CrossFire configuration.

The "maximum
resolution" is defined as the single monitor resolution multiplied
by the number of monitors used in a DualHead (two monitor) or
TripleHead (three monitor) mode. For example, with DualHead2Go,
2560x1024 is the total resolution across two monitors, each monitor
running at 1280x1024 resolution. |

"2D Windows applications" refers to the maximum
resolution that office applications can be set to for business use
(ie. Email, MS-Office, etc). |

"3D fullscreen" refers to the maximum resolution
that a fullscreen 3D video game can run. |

Under Windows 2000, when TripleHead2Go is
connected to a notebook only the 3 external displays will be active
- the LCD screen will be disabled. |
